Directors Club 4th and 5th Anniversary Celebrations

DC takes pride in introducing Awards for Assistant Directors for the first time in India

Directors Club Fourth and Fifth Anniversary Celebration was held on Friday 17.12.2021 at Rani Seetha Hall, Chennai. The event was attended by SA Chandrasekhar, director and father of actor Vijay, and Marimuthu, director and actor, and numerous celebrities including actor Kali Venkat. I

n this ceremony, Art performances were held and a dance event on behalf of the CSI School for the Deaf and hard of hearing children caught everyone's attention. Followed by the Director's Club, Selected members of the Best Picture of the Years in 2020 and 2021 on the basis of votes, and presented the awards to the Assistant Directors of the "Sarpatta Parambarai" Film, who were selected at the ceremony to present the award to the Assistant Directors who served on it.

This is the first time in India that assistant directors have been recognized and awarded. The Director's Club is government-recognized later this year. It also serves as a free training workshop for assistant directors and a platform for creating opportunities for them.
